Evercade VS pricing and bundles revealed

The Evercade Vs (revealed recently) could well be one of the top gift sellers for Christmas, bringing true arcade classics to the big screen in November. The Evercade team at Blaze has just announced the three tier options for those looking to turn the living room or den into a retro arcade.

UPDATE: The Evercade Founder Edition has just been announced, available as a limited production of 5,000 units from Funstock only, for £159 onsale (update, SOLD OUT, naturally!) and packing in...

  • Evercade VS Founder Edition Black Console and two controllers
  • Evercade VS Founder Edition Exclusive Packaging
  • Evercade Handheld Black Link Cable
  • Founder Edition Certificate of Authenticity
  • Two Evercade VS Exclusive Art Cards
  • Evercade Exclusive Founder Edition Poster
  • Evercade VS Steel Book Cartridge Holder
  • Evercade VS Founder Edition Keyring

Plus six cartridges including all the Arcade versions.

  • Intellivision Collection 1 (21)
  • Bitmap Brothers Collection 1 (22)
  • Technos Arcade 1 (01)
  • Data East Arcade 1 (02)
  • Gaelco Arcade 1 (03)
  • Atari Arcade 1 (04)

Original story: The Evercade VS Premium pack will come with an Evercade VS Console and two controllers, plus two carts, Technos Arcade 1 and Data East Arcade 1, costing £109.99/$129.99/€129.99 and bringing the likes of Double Dragon II and Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja home.

The Evercade VS Starter Pack will come with an Evercade VS Console, one controller and the Technos Arcade 1 cart, costing £89.99/$99.99/€99.99.

The third bundle, a Founder Edition likely containing all four arcade carts will be announced soon. It might just be a different colour option, to match the original black Evercade model.

All the hardware and upcoming games go up for pre-order on the 28th of May. If you want an Evercade now, the handheld still represents amazing value from just £60 and can play all the upcoming Arcade carts too. Note, the hardware isn't yet listed on Amazon, presumably to keep scalpers at bay, but you can buy from other outlets and the games are available everywhere.

(UPDATE: The Vs console won't support Namco Museum Collections 1 and 2 which are now badged as handheld exclusives, due to a licensing issue. Hopefully that can be resolved.)
